I am a Ph.D. student at Virginia Tech studying Materials Science & Engineering. My research is focused on the use of Additive Manufacturing (often referred to as 3D Printing) as a means of creating complex tissue scaffolds from biocompatible photopolymers. I also help develop new high-performance photopolymers for stereolithography. I am co-advised by Dr. Abby Whittington, who specializes in polymers and Regenerative Medicine, and Dr. Christopher B. Williams, an expert in Additive Manufacturing and director of the DREAMS Lab at VT.
